Last Will and Testament

Last Will And Testament Of 1964 Class

We, the Senior Class of Nineteen Hundred and Sixty-Four of Trinity High School, in the County of Randolph, State of North Carolina, being of sound mind (we hope) and a strong body, having attained ample knowledge to graduate and take up the toil and hardships of life, do set pen to this document.

To Mr. Hawkins, we leave our deepest appreciation for his help and guidance during our hours of need.  To our teachers, we leave many thanks for their leadership and kindness toward us.

We do will and bequeath all our most valuable possessions to the inmates and beloved wardens of the State Institution of Trinity High School.   They are as follows:

Janice Walker wills her height to Evelyn Green.

Jennie Auman leaves her seat in Miss Bushman’s Study Hall to Brenda Auman.

Lynne Younts leaves her basketball suit to Sandra Coggins hoping she can fill it.

Nancy Biles leaves her teasing comb and hair spray to Anne Hill.

Betty White Bequeaths her seat on the Washington bus to Patsy Clodfelter and Marilyn Kinney.

Kay Allred wills her popularity with boys to Kay Crotts.

Sharron Ward wills her place as best looking to some deserving girl in the Junior Class.  Just which one deserves it is hard to say.

Beverly Pierce leaves her bashful ways to Ronda Holder and Marilyn Gearren.

Susan Welborn bequeathes her ability to make coffee to Evelyn Brown.

Christine Tucker leaves her seat on the activity bus to Mary Sink.

Dora Jane Spell leaves her pounds to Cynthia Shepard.

Susan Hill and Linda Lambert leave their annual to Brenda Siler and Norma Jones and all the headaches that go with it.

Becky Farlow wills her quiet voice and good grades to Jean Younts who we know will not slander this great inheritance.

Rosemary Nelson leaves her talent for Slow dancing to Sandy Holland.

Barbara Hohn wills to Sandi Misenheimer her fondness for diamond rings.

Barbara Peterson leaves her love for working to Connie Chatham.

Joyce Boylen sadly leaves her flirty eyes to Muriel Trotter and Jane Biles.

Lynda Kirkman wills her red hair to Carleda Beck although she has plenty of her own.

Barbara Leffever leaves her French book to Janie Hinshaw.  She is more than glad to get rid of it.

Zana Davis wills her quiet ways, even temper, and good disposition to Susan Albertson.

Shirley Beane doth will and bequeath her giggles to Eula Mae More and Janet Cagle or anyone who feels like giggling.

Gaye Cartner leaves her musical ability to Cindy Harris.  Good Luck!

Cindy Kinley leaves her wedding rings to Vickie Owens.

Dorothy Roberts leaves her 6 foot frame to Carl Jones.

Esther Fitch bequeaths her friendly ways to Linda Fraley and Dorothy Foster.

Bobbie Jo Davis bequeathes to Gail Cain and Judy Gibson her fast talking.

Rebecca Charles wills her courage to Toby Coward.

Shirley Matthews leaves her soft voice and quiet ways to Peggy Hooper and Louise Garner.

Linda Farlow leaves her likeful married life to Gladys Dillard.

Betty Farlow wills her noisy bottles in Washington to Mildred Frazier.

Phyllis Holt leaves her height to Brenda Coltrane.

Steve Green bequeaths his radio to Gary Brown.

Roger Bryson leaves his studies in science and quiet personality to Mike Hill and Keith Hilton.

Bill Whitehart leaves his wild handshake to Winfield Lohr.

Kermit Blair leaves his car with associated responsibilities to Billy Leach.

David White leaves his highest ability with the basketball to J. C. Mizelle and Jerry Leonard.

Johhnny Lucas leaves his hat, sunglasses, cane, and advice on treatment of souviener shoppers to Eddie White.

Eddie Coggins wills his beatle haircut to Sammy Wall, Richard Crouse and David Deaton.

Steve Smith bequeaths to Barry Wall and Terry Medlin his grocery cart.

Wayne Richardson leaves his position in Agriculture to Randy Berge.

Harold Lambeth bequeaths his ’57 Chevy to Wayne Honeycutt.

David Brown leaves his high powered Chevrolet to Greg and Steve Thompson.  MAYBE YOU CAN USE IT FOR A GOLF CART.

Dale Webster leaves his perfect attendance certificate to Danny Smith (Pick it up at the Soda Shop any day at lunch.)

Bill Thomas leaves his high school experience to Tim Davis and Donnie Dalton.

Ronnie Hilton bequeaths his bus with the big driver’s seat to Mike Croker.

Robert Hill leaves his Big Mouth to Roy Cambell.

Larry Taylor leaves his two timing record to Harold Spainhour

Murray Skeen leaves his quiet, studious ways to George Ball and Mike Dickerson.

Logan White leaves all his basketball ability to Steve Morton (It might help you make the team next year.

Steve Hicks bequeaths his excellent ability to use the logarithm table to Donald Farlow and Wayne Clodfelter.  Good luck.

Richard Sparks leaves his Golf Club to Gary Dobbins.

Danny Stone bequeaths his gavel and associated responsibilities to Larry Duggins.

Jimmy Peace bequeaths his speech making ability to Roger Isom.

Randy Giles leaves his photographic ability to Neal Hoover who really needs it.

Bob Hill leaves his voice in Glee Club to Steve Martin.

James Hudson leaves his football shoes to Jimmy Landrum, Butch Thomas, and whoever else it takes to fill them.

Harold White leaves his mop to George Osborne at Rose’s.

Darrel Bean leaves his eternal place at the front of the lunch line to Leroy Troxel.

Johnny Reddick leaves his way with the girls to Greg Clodfelter and Charles Rice.

Phil Hebert leaves his football records for Larry Goins and Ronnie Morris to break.

Billy Hunt bequeaths the remains of his one foot long cigar to Jerry Brower.

Larry Hepler leaves his physical stature to Mickey Whitt.

Bill Albertson leaves his bus drivers license to Gary Howerton.

Lawrence Jordan leaves his jar of pickles to James Shaw.  Pick them up in the desk in room 203 in the Burlington Hotel.

Teddy Wagoner leaves his tube of toothpaste from Washington to Jerry Smith.  REMEMBER TOOTHPASTE IS FOR TEETH AND NOT FOR EARS.

Jerry Haas bequeaths his love of work to Steve Summy who really needs it.

Gary Lankford bequeathes his loud mouth to Boyd Pierce.

Larry Brower leaves his job at Archdale Oil to Jerry Hughs.

Walter Goforth leaves his envied long-awaited status as a senior to Jimmy Rawlins, Wayne Landreth and Roger Tuttle.

Linda Wilson wills her dark hair to Arnette Moore and Brenda Gill.

Elaine Deaton leaves her quietness to Gail Owens and Carolyn Davis.

Arnetta Graves wills her love for horses to Nancy Winslow.

Oma Nell Holder leaves her loudness to Evon Hunt and Linda White.

Patsy Embry bequeaths her good personality to Nancy Russell.

Janie Maudlin leaves her beautiful eyes to Maxine Peele and Brenda Siler.

Rebecca Osborne wills her laugh to Emogene Cornelison and Carol Martz.

Jane Sides leaves her sweet disposition to Sally Van Roker and Sherley Barker.

Nancy Skeen wills her seat in English to Judy Hurlocker.

Wilma Edwards leaves her new hair styles she acquired on the Washington Bus to Gwyn Oakley.

Stacey Spillman leaves her offstage part in the senior play to Bernie Macalouso.

Sammie Steele wills her jovial laugh to Elaine Lambert.

Barbara Lockhart leaves her housecleaning to Glenda Connor.

Jean Ross leaves her interest in the armed forces to Penny Shean.

Sylvia Spell wills her well groomed hair to Linda Ferree and Linda Allen.

Jill White leaves her shapely figure to Linda Wall and Judith Wood.

Marry Trotter doth will and bequeath her flirty ways to Jois and Lois Murchison.

Joan Wallace wills her many freckles to Carolyn Hull.

Diane Hall leaves her cooking ability to Brenda Shuskey.

Sonja Allen leaves her beautiful voice and love for talking to Sarah Boggs since she needs it.

Trudy Dawson wills her great sense of direction to Phyllis Royals and hopes that she puts it to better use.

Phyllis Loflin bequeaths her weekday trips to the post office to Pat Brower and hopes she has as much use for them.

We hereby appoint Mrs. Gurney Peace and Mrs. Charles Little, our class advisors, as sole executors of this, our last will and testament.

In witness whereof, we the Senior Class of 1964 do set seal on this the twenty second day of May in the year of our Lord, Nineteen Hundred and Sixty Four.
